Yukiko Naito and
Maggie Hohle have been working together translating material about
Japanese creators for ten years. Hohle is also a design writer who
lived in Japan for 15 years, interviewing Japanese creators in their
own language in order to write accurately about them and their work.
Both have interpreted and translated for a wide range of creators,
and those on both sides of the language divide have praised their
work.
Naito is based in Nagoya, Japan and Hohle is based
in the San Francisco Bay Area, making possible an efficient, 24-hour
work schedule. The partnership is also well integrated into the
worlds of design, architecture and publishing on both sides of the
Pacific and in the UK, allowing clients access to a wide range of
individuals and institutions. |
